Condition of
Holiday Rental
(Effective July 2004)
We hope that you have an enjoyable and restful holiday, and further that we may continue to have your valued patronage.
We are aiming to offer quality accommodation, and the property is furnished and maintained to the owner’s standard.
In order to avoid any embarrassment, the following conditions of tenancy must be observed.
Arrival and Departures Times
1. Tenancies shall commence not earlier that 2.30 pm on the day of arrival.
Departure shall be at or before 10.00am on the departure date. These times must
be strictly adhered to.
Keys for Property
2. Keys for the property are to picked up from the owners, or cleaner,
on the arrival date, and returned to the owner or cleaner following departure.
Number of Tenants Allowed
3. The number of tenants for the property shall not exceed the
amount of beds provided in the property.
Inventory
3. Please read the inventory for the property you are to rent prior to
arrival, to ensure that all items required by you, which are not
supplied are brought by you. Please note that linen and towels are
not provided. The Inventory is a guide only and is subject to change without
notice.
Pets
4. Pets are not allowed in any circumstances on the property.
Rental and Bond Monies
6.(a) Attached with these conditions is your booking confirmation. On
the booking confirmation is set forth the amount of the rental and
the bond money payable for this property.
(b) If the balance of the rental is not paid by the due date, then the
booking of the property may be cancelled, and all monies paid by you will be
forfeited.
(c) If the booking for the property is cancelled by you no later than
sixty days prior to the date of commencement of the tenancy, a
cancellation of $300.00 will be held by the owners. The balance of the rental
will be refunded back to you.
(d) If you cancel your booking at any time later than sixty days
prior to the commencement of the tenancy, we reserve the right
(in our absolute discretion) to charge an amount up to the amount paid by you
as a cancellation fee.
(e) Bond inspection will be carried out and your bond cheques will
Be returned to you as soon as possible.
Departure of Property
7. (a) The property must be left in a clean and tidy state at the
conclusion of the tenancy.
(b) Please ensure that the fridge within the property is cleaned.
(c) Please comply with any special request made with respect to
rubbish removal and any other request list the owner may have
left in the property for you. There will be a charge for removal of any excess
rubbish that does not fit in the bin.
(d) If the property is not left in a reasonable state of cleanliness
(which will be at the absolute discretion of the owners, then the
owners may apply any bond monies held to assist in the cost of
any cleaning to the property.
Miscellaneous Matters
8. (a) Please do not enter any locked areas you do not have keys for
within the property. Please note that water levels in some areas
are at a low level. Please ensure no water is wasted during your
stay.
(b) If any breakages occur at the property, please advise the owners
soon as possible.
(c) Please respect the surrounding property and do not park on
lawns or gardens.
Forfeiture of Bond (Minimum Bond $300.00)
9. If any of the above conditions are not strictly adhered to, the
Owners reserve the right to forfeit part or all of the bond.
Disturbances
10. In the event of the owners or Police being called to the property
to control noise/unruly behaviour or Parties, the owners reserve
the right to evict you from the accommodation and all monies will
be forfeited.
I have read and understood the Conditions of Holiday Rental and
Agree to abide by them.
